.. this is simply one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Paris over the many years of visiting. It has a lift (!) our room was large (with the attached ensuite bathroom even more so), FREE breakfast (large choice of continental breakfast items) in the large underground breakfast area, FREE residents bar with soft drink, coffee, cakes, biscuits all available free in the residents lounge downstairs next to Reception. Loved the pink sheep statue there! Staff were great.. very helpful recommending some local (non-touristy type) places to eat, breakfast staff helping keep the food flowing. And a bonus.. it is part of a small hotel chain in Paris. Walking around Paris.. sore feet, want a drink? find another Hotel Astotel (you are given a map) and you can stop and have a drink, rest at no charge. Great idea! (did NOT know this when we booked) finally.. location. Great location. We used it to visit (we walked) Sacre Coure, Montmartre and right down to the Seine (like Place de la Concorde, Pont Alexandre) via the shopping area on Blvd Haussman. The hotel is also only about 50m to a Metro station

Highly recommend this hotel for a short-term stay. The location is great, so you can easily reach a few iconic sights on foot, and for the rest use metro (a couple of stations are very close to the hotel) or HopOn-HopOff bus if you like. You can also find plenty of nice dining options in the area. The staff was super polite, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, comfy, and had all basic amenities in place. Iron and a small portable ironing board can be asked at the reception desk for temporary use. The policy of a free refilled soft drinks mini bar is amazing, highly appreciated it. At the breakfast besides great pastry and delicious home made bread you can find scrambled eggs and sausages, cereals, a few options of ham and cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurts, and apple and orange Tropicana juices. Particularly loved the lobby design :)

The location. 50m away was saint george metro station, neighborhood felt safe, had no problem walking with my mom back to the hotel during the night. The montmartre is very close, moulin rouge is 10min away by footy, lots of restaurants and cafes near. Breakfast was very good, they had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cheese, salami, gluten free food for celiac, vegan yogurt and milk, good coffee, very good sweets. Really everything you want, I only missed vegetable to have with eggs but can’t complain as everything else was really amazing. Every afternoon there was free coffee, water, juices and food in the hotel. Also free minibar in the room was a nice touch. Wish all the hotels did that. If I ever come back to Paris I will definetly stay here again.

The hotel is located centrally in Paris and next to a metro station, making it easy to get to anywhere. There were several high quality restaurants nearby. It is a short walk to Sacre Coeur. Considering it's location, it was good value for money. The Astotel group offers free snacks and soft drinks in any of their hotels in Paris, and we found that they live up to this promise. We were able to stop at another hotel near Arc de Triomph to relax and enjoy the treats they had on offer. The daily breakfasts were very good. The staff members were helpful and friendly throughout the stay. The hotel is generally very clean and the staff were able to make up the room, even though our bags were taking up a lot of space.

Loved the location and the view from our room. Enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel in the morning and the optional snacks in the afternoon. The reception staff were absolutely fabulous. Very helpful for when we were confused about getting a weekly pass for the subway. There are weekly metro passes from Monday through Sunday but you need a copy of your picture to take to the subway for them to make you a metro card. Then you can refill your card if needed in Navigo on your cell phone. Do not try to buy a ticket from the bus drivers, you have to go to the metro station. And it helps to know a little French. Learn how to say common niceties and if your a rude person you should pick another county to travel. Merci!
